We are an officially recognized nonprofit charitable and educational organization (501(c)3 registered in Tyler, Texas.

Tyler Art Lift’s mission is to promote art education and literacy through recognition and support of the individuals who cultivate the arts in Tyler.

Together we can change lives in Tyler and Smith County communities through volunteerism and careful use of generous donations.

TAL’s vision is to enhance a vibrant and thriving creative community that will promote a love of the arts, history, and culture in Tyler. We will strive to create innovative opportunities for art education and enjoyment that enhance our quality of life and benefit a thriving cultural arts community.

We will accomplish this through public physical art displays and public gallery shows. Sponsored art shows, events, festivals and public art projects will stand hand in hand with our art appreciation.

TAL will lift the community of local artists and musicians by providing performance venues and opportunities to show and perform. We will be mindful of Tyler’s rich history and East Texas’ unique heritage. From roses to railroads through oil and into medicine, our community has thrived in this fertile East Texas soil. Art will be more than just a tool to lift the community; it will be a mirror through which we can value each other.
